Leicester city midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is set to undergo surgery on an abductor injury he sustained during his team’s clash with Burnley last Sunday.
This was confirmed by Leicester city’s coach, Brendan Rodgers. The coach made it known that Ndidi would be out for 12weeks.
According to Rodgers “That [surgery] will take probably place tomorrow morning, it’s just unfortunate, it’s come right off the bone, so he’s going to be up to 12 weeks we think. He’s a huge player for us”
The coach was however optimistic that the Nigerian international will recover on time to rejoin the team “I’m sure he’ll make a really good recovery and we’ll welcome him back when he comes back, but there’s no doubt he’s a miss.” He said.
Leicester city will go into the match against Manchester city without Ndidi but they’re not the only ones without a key player as Gabriel Jesus has been ruled out of the Mancity squad for the game following an injury he suffered too.
